Telephone Automatically Dials Pre-Programmed Numbers During Emergency

ClearSounds TALK500-ER Amplified Telephone with Remote Alert SOS. Included wireless remote pendant can auto-dial up to 30 pre-programmed numbers during an emergency and works up to 100 feet from phone.

When using the SOS feature, a user-recorded emergency message is delivered to a sequential list of up to 30 pre-programmed phone numbers. Once a caller picks up the call, the message is delivered and the speakerphone will be activated for 3 minutes. If your caller does not press #1 and then #2 the conversation will disconnect and dial the next number on the list.

If there is no response from the 1st emergency call, or if the 1st caller does not press the numbers 1 and 2 sequentially to cancel the SOS function, the phone will dial the next number.

If all the emergency calls receive no response, the phone automatically redials the numbers 10 minutes later.

Uniden CEZAI998 Phone Answering Machine offers "new message alert feature"

Technology can become a challenge as we get older and stop paying attention to details. One recent problem:

"My mom never responds to her answering machine messages. She doesn't notice the small message indicator on her current answering machine, and never listens, or even knows, a new message has been left for her. I never know if she ever gets any of my phone messages."

The Uniden CEZAI998 helps avoid this problem with a phone "message alert feature". When a new answering machine message is received, the CEZAI998 sounds a short alert tone every 15 seconds. Once all new messages have been played, the alert tone automatically stops beeping until the phone receives another new (unplayed) message.

Note while this could be potentially very annoying, this feature is optional and can be turned ON or OFF.
