Uniden CEZAI998 Phone Answering Machine offers "new message alert feature"

Technology can become a challenge as we get older and stop paying attention to details. One recent problem:

"My mom never responds to her answering machine messages. She doesn't notice the small message indicator on her current answering machine, and never listens, or even knows, a new message has been left for her. I never know if she ever gets any of my phone messages."

The Uniden CEZAI998 helps avoid this problem with a phone "message alert feature". When a new answering machine message is received, the CEZAI998 sounds a short alert tone every 15 seconds. Once all new messages have been played, the alert tone automatically stops beeping until the phone receives another new (unplayed) message.

Note while this could be potentially very annoying, this feature is optional and can be turned ON or OFF.
